After many years of trail riding, it was clear many mountain bikers had the same problem of having to stop at the top of a steep section and lower their seat allowing descend faster and with more control. Saftey is also an important issue regarding steep technical trials, lowering a saddle height will lower the rider's centre of gravity allowing better control, but the issue with adjusting the saddles height is having to stop get off the bike, adjust and continue again. Another issue then is once throught the techinical area your saddle should be raised back to the opitum positition to deliver maximum power to the pedals, you must have your seat in a raised position. Again the rider would have to stop and raise the saddle again before proceeding.
The basic solution - "It would be great to do this on the move"
The seat stopper concept was born, with the idea of adjusting saddle height on the move. After viewing many products currently on the market, we felt we could improve on many of the design in existance.
